College App Workshop w/ Girl Genius

On July 24, I spoke at my first ever webinar to help high school girls learn about the college app process, hosted by Girl Genius Mag. 475 students from all around the world signed up! What was supposed to be a 1 hour presentation turned into a 3.5 hour long Q&A! It was definitely one of the most rewarding experiences I've ever had.

Here's what some of the students had to say:

“It’s like a college admissions bible”

“I have been in different essay panels, but this one is the best!!!”

“She is so smart, beautiful, confident, and sophisticated.”

“As a first-gen this was the best workshop I’ve been to and it helped me so!”

“Dyllen is so authentic and down to earth.”

Dyllen's College Application Resources!

When I applied to college, I sought out numerous articles, books, and videos to gain valuable insight into the college application process. What I learned was indispensable. I was accepted into 8/8 schools I applied to including Stanford, USC, UCLA, NYU, and more. Two years later, I continue to thoroughly research college essay strategies, work with students, and create educational content on YouTube to increase accessibility around college applications.
